The AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow offers interesting lectures, classes and laboratory classes both in Polish and as well as other languages.

The AGH UST International Courses is an inter-faculty database that provides information about more than 140 courses offered in English, German, French and Russian, which complement the educational offer of the faculties.

The courses are taught across the entire university, and are available to students of all AGH UST faculties, including international students who take part in the degree programmes such as Erasmus+ and SMILE.

Open Polish language course at AGH UST Department of Foreign Languages


Department of Foreign Languages is an independent unit of AGH Cracow University of Science and Technology and offers an Intensive Preparatory Course of Polish Language for Studying in Poland. The course is conducted by specialists qualified in teaching Polish as a foreign language. The one-year programme (780 hours) starts at the beginning of October. It helps to improve Polish and develop skills necessary to study and includes courses of grammar, vocabulary and communication, as well as linguistic fluency (e.g. listening and reading comprehension, composition and editing of texts), technical Polish language and subjects related to the future fields of study. Learning begins on A1 level (CEFR) and ends with an integrated skills exam on B1 level held at the end of the second semester. Having completed the course students get a B1 certificate issued by AGH UST.

Semester fee: 4680 PLN
