How to participate in exchange programs?

International students have a number of opportunities to come to AGH UST for both studies and internships. Stays of international students can last from 2 months to one year.

Students have the opportunity to come to AGH UST within exchange programs and bilateral agreements.

The most popular exchange programmes are Erasmus+, SMILE and CEEPUS.

AGH UST has signed numerous agreements with universities around the world. A list of applicable agreements is available on the website of the Department of International Relations.

Procedure for dealing with applications in terms of exchange programs, bilateral agreements and internships is very similar.

The Department for International Students deals only with applications of first- and second-cycle students. In matters related to doctoral student applications, please contact the AGH Doctoral School.

BEFORE ARRIVAL TO AGH UST

Step 1. VALID BILATERAL AGREEMENT (Partner university)

In order to start the application procedure, international students should check the validity of the bilateral agreement. On the basis of the agreement the partner university sends the so-called nomination to AGH UST, informing about a student applying for arrival.

Nominations should be sent to the address: exchange@agh.edu.pl.

The Department for International Students will contact the appointed students informing about the details of the application procedure.

If the university does not have a valid bilateral agreement, please contact the Department of International Relations (dwz@agh.edu.pl).

The Department for International Students does not sign new bilateral agreements.

Step 2. REGISTRATION AND REQUIRED DOCUMENTS (student)

The Department for International Students contacts the nominated students informing about the details of the application procedure, deadlines and required documents.
